A presentation that matches a global brand: redesigning the Premier League’s partner deck

The challenge

The Premier League already had one of the most recognisable brands in global sport. The presentation used in partner conversations did not carry that same confidence.

Its content contained the right ingredients, but the narrative was difficult to follow and important messages were competing for attention. In a partner setting, that creates a particular kind of problem: the deck can start to slow the conversation down instead of helping it move forward.

The Premier League needed a presentation that could support strategic relationship-building in the room, giving presenters a clearer story to tell and audiences a much easier way to understand the value of the partnership.

Our solution

We started with the story before touching the design. A collaborative workshop with the Premier League team helped identify the strategic intent behind the presentation, the messages that mattered most and the order in which audiences needed to encounter them.

From there, we rebuilt the narrative structure of the deck. Content was simplified and re-sequenced to create a stronger flow, giving each section a clearer purpose and reducing the amount of information competing on individual slides.

The visual system then brought the Premier League brand into the presentation with far more confidence. Bold imagery, minimal text and new layouts created space for the material to land properly, while dynamic animation helped control pacing and reveal information at the right moment during a live conversation.

The deck was designed to work as a presentation, not as a document placed on a screen. Every slide had to support the person presenting it and make the next part of the story easier to deliver.

The outcome

The Premier League now has a partner presentation that feels much closer to the stature of the brand behind it. The narrative is easier to follow, the visual hierarchy is clearer and presenters have more control over how the story unfolds in the room.

That has made the deck a stronger relationship-building tool, with strategic messages given the space and sequence they need to hold attention throughout partner conversations.

The redesign also gave internal teams a system they can continue to use and update themselves, keeping future presentations consistent without needing external design support for every change.

The result is a presentation built for the moment it is actually used: clear enough to guide the conversation, distinctive enough to represent the Premier League, and flexible enough to remain useful as partner discussions evolve.
